The U16 girls have once again proven their mettle by making it to the cup final for the second consecutive season. After their triumphant victory last year, the team set their sights on at least reaching the semi-final this season. They surpassed their own expectations, defeating Ballymoney, Finn Valley/Inishowen, and Ballymena/Cooke along the way.

Throughout the season, the girls showcased exceptional rugby skills, demonstrating that when they are focused, they are a formidable force. Despite facing numerous injuries, which posed significant challenges, the team displayed remarkable resilience. They adapted by learning new positions and proved to be a versatile and brilliant group. This adaptability will serve them well in the upcoming final.

Their biggest challenge lies ahead on 9th March at Kingspan Stadium in Belfast. Not only are the girls ready for it, they are eagerly looking forward to it. They are determined to show their supporters what they are made of and, hopefully, bring the cup home. Good luck, girls!
